THE BONAIRE ADVANTAGE
The upcoming programs will be held at the busy, world-class BOPEC (Bonaire Petroleum Corporation N.V.) transshipment and storage terminal located in Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles, giving the participants the chance to see the daily operations of the facility first hand. Each course group tours the facility to see the tanks, pumps, lines, vessel berths, cargo arms, cargo control room, oil measurement and testing. The groups usually go onboard an active loading or discharging tanker, conditions permitting. The combination of detailed practical lectures and hands-on viewing of what was discussed is a beneficial learning experience.
